What it does
Found by the phones around it
It has no GPS and needs no SIM card. Phones on the network that pass near it report where it is, in any country, and the OWN app shows the last place it was reported, with a circle for how sure that position is. The busier the place, the fresher the report.
Rings when you are close
Tap Play sound and it rings. Ringing goes over Bluetooth, so your phone has to be near it: out of reach, keep the screen open and walk towards it, and the app rings it as soon as your phone gets there. Find it in the room shows its signal, from Far to Here.
Where it has been
Location history for today, the last 7 or 30 days, or all of it, on the map in the app. Sign in at findown.co on a computer and the same map is there.
One tracker, anything you carry
Keys, a backpack, a suitcase, the car, a pet. It comes in a silicone key ring, and the pet collar and the kids’ watch band hold it too. Add as many trackers to one account as you like.
A battery you change yourself
It runs on a CR2032 coin cell, the kind most supermarkets and pharmacies sell. The app shows its level in four steps — good, half, low, replace it now — so you change it before it runs out, not after.
